By using Lingocast you agree to these terms.
Personal learning only
Lingocast creates translated, re-voiced versions of podcast episodes that you choose, for your own personal language learning. Don't share, publish, sell or otherwise redistribute the episodes Lingocast makes. The original podcasts belong to their creators.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple and are responsible for activity on your account. Don't misuse the service — for example by trying to break it, overload it, or get free tokens by creating many accounts. We may suspend accounts that do.
Tokens
- Episodes cost tokens, roughly 1 token per minute of the original episode. The price is shown before you make an episode.
- If an episode fails, its tokens are returned automatically.
- Tokens have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are used only in Lingocast.
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Refund requests go through them, except where the law gives you other rights.
AI-generated content
Transcripts, translations and voices are produced automatically by AI and may contain mistakes. Don't rely on them for anything important.
The service
Lingocast is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app if a change is significant.
